Ayodhya, August 19: Samajwadi Party MP Avadhesh Prasad has voiced his opinions on several pressing issues, including the Congress Working Committee meeting, the arrest of AAP leader Satyendar Jain, and student protests in Jharkhand. He boldly claimed that the BJP will not secure even 50 seats in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections in 2027.
In response to Akhilesh Yadav‘s comments regarding seat distribution in the NDA for the upcoming elections, Prasad stated, “The BJP faces a daunting challenge in the next elections. Their path is fraught with difficulties. Issues like donation theft and inflation are significant challenges for the BJP, and they lack any plans to address them. The economy is in shambles, and farmers are struggling to access fertilizers. Even their allied parties are beginning to exert pressure regarding seat distribution. The BJP has lost the public’s trust. If they manage to win 50 seats in the 2027 Uttar Pradesh elections, it would be a miracle.”
Regarding the Congress Working Committee meeting, Prasad mentioned, “Our national president, Akhilesh Yadav, is aware of the situation. Based on the information he receives, he will decide whether to attend the meeting. I am not sure if he has received any updates, and I have not discussed this with him.”
On the cancellation of several examinations in Jharkhand, Prasad urged the Chief Minister to prioritize students’ interests and engage in dialogue before making any decisions. He appealed to the government to implement policies and measures that would protect students from harm.
Previously, Prasad remarked, “The time for the Yogi government has passed, and the people of the state are weary of them. The public’s trust in them has eroded, and they have distanced themselves. The announcements made by the Chief Minister reflect a sense of desperation. There is no strength, certainty, or trust in their declarations. Their departure is inevitable.”
