New Delhi, July 30: The holy month of Shravan, dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva, commenced on Thursday. On this occasion, Chief Ministers from several BJP-ruled states, including Yogi Adityanath and Rekha Gupta, extended their best wishes to the public.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared a post on ‘X’, stating, “The sacred month of Shravan, dedicated to the worship and adoration of Lord Shiva, begins today. This holy period is a unique opportunity for spiritual upliftment, self-discipline, and devotion. I warmly welcome all devotees participating in the Kanwar Yatra. May Lord Shiva fulfill all your wishes and bring virtue into your lives. Har Har Mahadev.”
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also conveyed her wishes for the start of Shravan Month, saying, “Shravan is a divine opportunity to connect with Shiva. It is a time when faith turns into resolve, penance becomes strength, and devotion paves the way for public welfare. The service of Shiva devotees during Shravan is a means of worshiping Lord Mahadev. The Delhi government has ensured the smooth operation of Kanwar camps, providing drinking water, medical facilities, rest areas, cleanliness, easy access, uninterrupted electricity, and all necessary arrangements with full devotion, sensitivity, and dedication.”
She added, “With the blessings of Baba Bholenath, may all Shiva devotees’ wishes be fulfilled, may His blessings remain upon every family, and may this sacred month of Shravan bring happiness, peace, and prosperity to all.”
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini also wished the residents of the state for Shravan Month, stating, “With the blessings of Lord Mahadev, may happiness, prosperity, good health, and well-being fill everyone’s lives, and may the grace of Bholenath always be upon our country and state; this is my prayer.”
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma posted, “Heartfelt congratulations to all on the commencement of the holy month of Shravan dedicated to the worship of Mahadev. May this sacred month bring happiness, peace, prosperity, health, and positive energy into your lives. With the immense grace of Lord Bholenath, may all your desires be fulfilled, and may our state and country continue to progress and thrive.”
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed, “Warm wishes and greetings on the beginning of the beloved month of Shravan. May the devotion to Bholenath bring happiness and prosperity into everyone’s lives; this is my prayer.”
Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, while wishing the residents on the start of Shravan Month, stated on ‘X’, “I pray to Lord Mahadev that this sacred month brings happiness, peace, good health, prosperity, and spiritual awakening into your lives. With the boundless grace of Lord Bholenath, may every family be filled with joy, prosperity, and well-being, and may our society continue to progress along the path of harmony, service, and values.”
