Nagpur, April 25: During the foundation-laying ceremony of the Bharat Durga Temple in Nagpur, RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat emphasized the importance of identity and strength for India. He stated that to worship India, one must first understand and embody what it means to be Indian.
Bhagwat remarked, “Nothing can be achieved without strength. Even truth needs the backing of power to be recognized in this world.” He highlighted that while some nations may adopt a might-is-right mentality, India should embrace truth at its core.
He assured attendees that the temple would be built and that regular worship would take place. “The worship of Durga in India should not be limited to priests and administrators; it is a duty for all of us,” he asserted.
The RSS Chief reiterated that to honor Durga, India must first become truly Indian. He noted the lingering effects of colonial rule, which have clouded the Indian mindset. “We must shed this Western influence and embrace our identity in every aspect of life, from daily actions to national discussions,” he urged.
Bhagwat called for courage, stating that India is on the path to becoming a global leader. He encouraged people to move beyond doubts about the nation’s future. “If the world does not take India’s path, what lies ahead?” he questioned. He urged everyone to take decisive steps toward progress, echoing the sentiments of spiritual leaders who proclaim that India will reclaim its lost glory and become a powerful nation.
