Siwan, April 13 : Armed criminals looted Rs 26 lakhs from a branch of North Bihar Rural Bank under the Town Police station area in Siwan district on Wednesday. Police said here that about six armed criminals barged into a branch of North Bihar Rural Bank and took all staff into their captivity at gunpoint. After taking them into their captivity, criminals looted Rs 26 lakhs from the bank and managed to escape from the spot, police added. Police Superintendent Sailesh Kumar reached the spot soon after receipt of the incident and started an investigation. The case was being investigated and all criminals would be arrested soon, said the Police Superintendent. XC KKS ARN
