Lucknow, August 11: The efforts of the Uttar Pradesh government over the past nine and a half years to promote good governance and address public grievances are evident on the ground. In the July rankings of the CM Dashboard, Rampur has once again secured the top position in the state. Shahjahanpur and Bareilly followed in second and third places, respectively.
District officials from Rampur, Shahjahanpur, and Bareilly reported that this achievement was made possible through effective resolution of public complaints, improved feedback mechanisms, and administrative reforms. Rampur’s District Magistrate, Ajay Kumar Dwivedi, explained that the evaluation of districts on the CM Dashboard is based on several criteria. These include timely resolution of public complaints, actions taken on received grievances, quality of feedback, and implementation of various schemes.
In July, the monitoring of 59 schemes in the district was conducted via the CM Dashboard, with Rampur achieving an ‘A’ grade in 56 of these programs. The district met 100% of its targets in sectors such as alternative energy, agriculture, social welfare, public works, planning, rural development, health, animal husbandry, basic and secondary education, fisheries, industry, cooperation, and irrigation.
Rampur scored 9.58 out of 10 in the July CM Dashboard rankings, reaffirming its top position in the state. Additionally, Rampur has consistently remained in the top ten of the CM Dashboard rankings for several months.
Shahjahanpur’s District Magistrate, Dharmendra Pratap Singh, noted that the CM Dashboard report evaluates the performance of districts that have made significant strides in administrative efficiency, development projects, and revenue management. In line with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s vision, Shahjahanpur is completing development projects in a timely and quality manner, while also ensuring prompt resolution of complaints received through the CM Dashboard.
Shahjahanpur achieved a score of 9.43 out of 10 in the July rankings, securing the second position in the state.
Bareilly followed closely with a score of 9.40, placing third. The July rankings saw several districts performing well, with Ambedkarnagar scoring 9.34 to take fourth place, and Mainpuri achieving 9.30 for fifth. Azamgarh scored 9.27 for sixth, Maharajganj 9.25 for seventh, and both Bulandshahr and Bagpat tied with 9.23 for eighth. Lakhimpur Kheri scored 9.20, while Sultanpur and Sonbhadra both scored 9.18 to round out the top ten.
