Rajasthan Transfers 65 IAS Officers, Appoints New OSDs in Chief Ministers Office

Jaipur, April 1: The Rajasthan government has announced the transfer of 65 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. This extensive list, released by the Personnel Department, includes changes within the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO), key departments of the Secretariat, and collectors across 25 districts of the state.

Three new Officers on Special Duty (OSDs) have been appointed in the Chief Minister’s Office. Riya Dabi, the CEO of Udaipur District Council, has been designated as the OSD to the Chief Minister. Additionally, Arvind Kumar Poswal, the Chief Minister’s Special Secretary, has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Rajasthan Housing Board.

To strengthen the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, the state government has created a balanced mix of experienced and young officers. Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni has been appointed as the Chief Minister’s Secretary and the Secretary of the Information and Public Relations Department. Young officers including Riya Dabi, Rajat Yadav, Akshat Singh, and Garima Narula have also been assigned as OSDs in the Chief Minister’s Office. Utsav Kaushal has been named the Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister.

Key appointments have also been made for the effective operation of major state schemes. Dr. Jogaram has been appointed as the Director of the National Health Mission alongside the Panchayati Raj Department. Rajan Vishal has been designated as the Mission Director of the Jal Jeevan Mission. In the energy sector, Shivratan Madan has been entrusted with the role of Managing Director (Energy Development), while Suresh Ola has been appointed as the Managing Director of RIICO.

Notably, significant changes have occurred in district postings. In the capital, Jaipur, Sandesh Nayak has been appointed as the District Collector. Alok Ranjan has been named Collector in Jodhpur, while Gaurav Agarwal has taken on the same role in Udaipur. Nishant Jain has been appointed as the new Collector of Bikaner and has also been given additional charge as the Chairman of the Bikaner Development Authority.

Prominent IAS officer Tina Dabi has been transferred from Barmer to become the Collector of Tonk district, while Anupama Jorwal has been appointed as the Collector of Jaisalmer.

Furthermore, Kanhaiyalal Swami has been named the Divisional Commissioner of Jodhpur, Arvind Kumar Poswal has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Rajasthan Housing Board, and Omprakash Kasera has been designated as the Commissioner of the Jaipur Municipal Corporation. In the Education Department, Dr. Rashmi Sharma has been appointed as the Director of the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan.
