Rahul Gandhi Addresses Students in Indore: They Are Not Happy, Their Future Is Uncertain

Indore, September 19 (Daily Kiran) : Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, spoke at the “Students’ Echo” event in Indore on September 19, 2026. He emphasized the crucial role of students as the future of the nation and addressed the challenges they face from the current system.

Before arriving in Indore, Gandhi had engaged with students in various cities, including Kota, Pune, and Prayagraj. Dressed in a black shirt and jeans, he chose to focus on the relationship between students and the prevailing system during his speech.

Gandhi questioned the nature of the existing system and how it suppresses students. He argued that the future of students is under threat from this system. “Youth are the backbone of our nation,” he stated, adding that no country can thrive without its young population. He praised students for their innate ability to ask questions and their natural curiosity about various topics.

According to Gandhi, students embody love and respect for one another, promoting humanity rather than hatred. He highlighted their honesty and commitment, stating these qualities are present in every student in India. However, he expressed concern that students are currently unhappy and feel uncertain about their futures. He urged that their voices must be heard and addressed.

During the event, a student raised concerns about universities not cooperating and the prevalence of fraud. He called for solutions to the ongoing problems, especially regarding delays in exam results, which have left over four hundred thousand students waiting for final outcomes.
