Quick Action Saves Seven Passengers from Burning Car in Madhya Pradesh

Dhar, October 9 (Daily Kiran) : A major incident occurred on Friday in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, when a car caught fire while traveling on the highway. Fortunately, all seven passengers inside were rescued thanks to the quick actions of local police.

According to police reports, the fire broke out in a Maruti Suzuki Ertiga car in the Rajod police jurisdiction. The Dial-112 service received an urgent call about the vehicle engulfed in flames, with passengers trapped inside. Responding promptly, police units from Rajod and Sardarpur were dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that the car was en route from Ahmedabad to Ujjain for a visit to the Mahakal temple when it suddenly caught fire. Recognizing the urgency of the situation, the police teams acted swiftly to evacuate all seven passengers safely. Unfortunately, the vehicle was completely destroyed, along with personal belongings and approximately ₹8,000 in cash.

Thanks to the rapid response of the police, all passengers were moved to a safe location. They were later provided with alternative transportation to continue their journey. Key personnel involved in the rescue included Prakash and Tulsi Ram Meda from the Rajod unit, as well as Saurabh More and Nitesh Baberiya from Sardarpur.

This incident highlights the importance of quick-thinking and efficient emergency response in protecting lives.
