
Amritsar, May 18: The Amritsar police in Punjab have successfully dismantled a gang involved in the trafficking of illegal weapons and drugs. One suspect has been arrested, with authorities seizing 2.1 kilograms of heroin and seven sophisticated pistols from him.
The police are currently interrogating the suspect to gather more information regarding the case and to determine the next steps. Updates about this operation have been shared on the social media platform X.
According to police reports, the suspect was acting on the instructions of a handler based abroad. He was involved in the trafficking of drugs and weapons and was actively seeking local youths in Punjab to assist him.
