Kolkata, June 4: The resignation of Kolkata’s Mayor, Firhad Hakim, has intensified political discussions in West Bengal. Agnimitra Paul, a minister in the West Bengal government, raised questions on social media platform ‘X’ regarding the behavior of Hakim and several councilors associated with the former ruling party.
In her post, Paul stated that Hakim’s resignation and the absence of many public representatives raise serious concerns about public accountability and political responsibility.
