
New Delhi, September 5 (Daily Kiran) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the centenary celebration of Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) today, September 5, at 7 PM. He is expected to address the gathering during the event.
Shri Ram College of Commerce, affiliated with Delhi University, is one of India’s premier institutions for higher education, renowned for its programs in commerce, economics, and management. Established in 1926 by the esteemed industrialist Sir Shri Ram, the college has produced generations of scholars, professionals, administrators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and nation-builders over the past century.
The centenary celebration coincides with Teacher’s Day, making the occasion particularly significant as it honors the contributions of educators and scholars in shaping generations and strengthening societal foundations.
SRCC offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in commerce and economics, including B.Com (Honors), BA (Honors), Economics, M.Com, and MA (Economics). Additionally, the college provides a two-year full-time postgraduate diploma in global business operations for ambitious students aiming for careers in international trade. Notably, SRCC is the only college within Delhi University recognized as a National Corporate Governance Center by the National Corporate Governance Foundation, based in New Delhi.
