
Shimla, April 22: The preparations for the ‘Jan Aakrosh Women’s March’, organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), have reached their final stages. On Wednesday night at around 8:30 PM, BJP state in-charge Shrikant Sharma inspected the venue at Chhoda Maidan in Shimla to review the arrangements.
Accompanying him was BJP state president Dr. Rajeev Bindal, who was also present during the inspection. After the review, both leaders expressed satisfaction with the preparations, stating that party workers are diligently working to ensure the event’s success.
Shrikant Sharma emphasized that this march will serve as a powerful platform to amplify the voices of women’s respect, rights, and participation, with thousands of women expected to join from across the state. He expressed confidence that this event would emerge as a significant public movement against the policies of the Congress party.
BJP state co-in-charge Pyar Singh Kanwar provided detailed information about the event’s arrangements, noting that a large number of workers and women from various districts will participate in the march scheduled for April 23. He mentioned that special measures have been taken to ensure smooth traffic management.
All vehicles of the workers will be parked at designated spots after exiting the 103 Tunnel. Horizon parking has been allocated for tempo travelers and smaller vehicles, while buses arriving from the districts of Mahasu, Sunni Mandal, Kasumpti urban and rural areas will park at the Tutikandi bypass. Buses from the districts of Solan, Sirmaur, Bilaspur, Ani, and Karsog will use the Tara Devi-Tutu bypass for parking.
To maintain traffic flow, a special team has been formed by the party, with Dinesh Thakur, Deepak Thakur, and Indra Thakur assigned responsibilities.
BJP leaders have called upon party workers and mothers from across the state to participate in large numbers in this historic march, asserting that this event will be a decisive step for women’s respect and rights.
