Political Tensions Rise as Rahul Gandhi Criticizes National Security Advisor Ajit Doval
Uttarakhands CM condemns Rahul Gandhis remarks on Ajit Doval, emphasizing national security over party politics.

Dehradun, October 15 (Daily Kiran) : Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has sharply criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his recent comments about National Security Advisor Ajit Doval. Dhami stated that the people of Uttarakhand will never forgive Gandhi for his remarks, asserting that Doval is a source of pride for the nation.
Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, labeled Doval as a “villain” of the country, igniting a heated political debate. In response, Dhami expressed that those who insult Doval, a son of Uttarakhand and the nation’s NSA, should understand that national security and pride transcend political affiliations.
In a post on the social media platform X, Dhami condemned Gandhi for tarnishing the country’s image abroad and questioning the valor of the armed forces, suggesting that such actions reflect a detrimental mindset. He emphasized that Uttarakhand has always made significant contributions to national security, and comments undermining the state’s pride and related issues are regrettable and hurtful to citizens.
Dhami questioned why Gandhi seems troubled by Uttarakhand’s growing honor and dignity. He insisted that political discourse should not compromise national security and urged that the country’s interests should take precedence over party politics. He shared a video on social media, reiterating that the people of Uttarakhand will not forgive Gandhi for his statements.
