BJP Criticizes Rahul Gandhi as Symbol of Anarchy Amid Supreme Court Protests
BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia condemns Rahul Gandhis actions, asserting that the Supreme Court is no place for mob mentality.

New Delhi, October 15 (Daily Kiran) : During a press conference held at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi, party spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia launched a sharp critique against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He labeled Gandhi as an anarchic, immature, and irresponsible leader, emphasizing that while the right to protest is fundamental, it has its limits. Bhatia stated that the Supreme Court, regarded as the temple of justice, should not be a venue for mob behavior.
Bhatia addressed the media, asserting that Gandhi has become a symbol of chaos in Indian democracy. He highlighted that several related issues were discussed in the Supreme Court on Thursday, where he appeared as a senior advocate.
The spokesperson pointed out that the public’s perception of Rahul Gandhi is well-known. He expressed concern that it is unfortunate for the country to have someone so immature and lacking constitutional understanding in the position of Leader of the Opposition.
Referencing the constitutional right to protest, Bhatia acknowledged that every citizen has the right to express themselves and demonstrate peacefully. However, he questioned whether this right should allow individuals to cross constitutional boundaries and create disturbances at any location.
He stressed that designated areas exist for protests, and such activities should be conducted peacefully, with prior permission from relevant authorities. Bhatia criticized Gandhi and the Congress party for allegedly planning protests near the Supreme Court on October 10 and 11, questioning the justification for such actions.
Bhatia reiterated that the Supreme Court is a sanctuary for justice, where mob rule cannot be tolerated. He insisted that constitutional rights should be exercised with respect for the dignity of institutions and constitutional limits.
In the press conference, Bhatia also addressed issues related to women’s respect. He referenced Gandhi’s slogan “Smash the Patriarchy,” questioning whether the discourse on women’s dignity is limited to the women of the Gandhi family. He deemed this a significant constitutional issue that every citizen should contemplate.
The BJP spokesperson concluded by emphasizing that while the right to dissent and protest is vital in a democracy, it should never be used to undermine the law, constitution, or the integrity of the judiciary.
Notably, the Supreme Court heard matters concerning protests by opposition leaders and the associated issues of court decorum on the same day, prompting the BJP to raise questions about Gandhi and the Congress party’s actions.
