PM Modi to Address Mega Vijay Sankalp Sabha in Siliguri Today

New Delhi, April 12: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a large ‘Vijay Sankalp Sabha’ in Siliguri, West Bengal, today at 1 PM. This rally is considered crucial for the upcoming two-phase assembly elections scheduled for later this month.

With the election campaign intensifying across the state, a significant turnout of party supporters and local residents is anticipated. This gathering is part of the BJP’s extensive outreach program aimed at strengthening its presence in the region.

Earlier, the Prime Minister addressed three major election rallies in various districts of West Bengal on the same day. Following these events, he participated in a grand roadshow in Bagdogra, near Siliguri, on Saturday evening.

As the Prime Minister’s convoy made its way through the streets, thousands lined up, enthusiastically chanting “Modi-Modi” and “Jai Shri Ram.” The massive crowd gathered to catch a glimpse of the leader, creating an electrifying atmosphere.

Initially, PM Modi was seen greeting the crowd from the front seat next to his driver. Later, he leaned out of the car window to wave at supporters, holding the BJP’s lotus symbol in his hands. His direct engagement with the crowd further fueled their enthusiasm, amplifying the cheers.

In preparation for the upcoming elections, the BJP has launched an ambitious campaign, organizing over 500 rallies and public meetings to mobilize voters in West Bengal. The party is deploying its top central leadership along with key state leaders, marking what is described as its most aggressive election campaign in recent years.

In addition to the rallies, the BJP plans to start daily press conferences from April 15, coinciding with Poila Boishakh. Each day, the party will highlight specific aspects of its manifesto, including welfare initiatives, cultural identity, and development agendas, which encompass agricultural reforms, women’s empowerment, and infrastructure development.
