Mumbai, May 10: On Mother’s Day, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal distributed nutritional kits for pregnant women in North Mumbai.

During the event, Goyal emphasized that the kit contains essential items needed during the final stages of pregnancy for mothers and sisters. It also addresses the crucial needs of newborns, ensuring both mother and child remain healthy.

He further stated that the initiative aims to distribute these kits across various areas in North Mumbai, ensuring that mothers and sisters from low to middle-income families do not face any difficulties.

In a conversation with the media, Goyal mentioned that the kits are tailored to provide nutrition for mothers and sisters from these families. The kits will be distributed monthly, promoting the health of both mothers and children. This program is being implemented throughout North Mumbai.
