People of Kolhapur responds to BJP’s racist, religious politics: NCP leader

Aurangabad / Mumbai, Apr 16 : Maharashtra NCP chief spokesperson Mahesh Tapase said on Saturday that people of Kolhapur has responded to BJP’s racist and religious politics. Reacting to the victory of MVA candidate Jaya Jadhav in the Kolhapur North by-election, he took a dig at BJP state chief Chandrakant Patil over his remark that voters were paid before election, saying that the people of Kolhapur have given a befitting reply to Patil and BJP. The victory in Kolhapur by-election belongs to the Congress, Shiv Sena and NCP, he noted. Pointing that the decisions and policies taken by the Maha Vikas Aghadi government for the people led to the victory, Tapase thanked the voters of Kolhapur. VKB SS 1810
