
Panchkula, April 14: On the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, a ‘Samta Run’ marathon was organized in Panchkula, Haryana, on Tuesday. Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini flagged off the marathon, which saw participation from several ministers and legislators of the Haryana government.
In his address, CM Saini emphasized that Baba Saheb regarded education as the most powerful weapon. He urged everyone to adopt the message of “Educate, Organize, and Agitate” in their lives.
CM Saini stated that positivity and change in society can be achieved through education, awareness, and unity. He extended his best wishes to all participants, encouraging them to run with enthusiasm and energy. “This marathon should not only showcase your physical speed but also the power of your thoughts,” he remarked.
He further paid tribute to Baba Saheb, calling for collective efforts to build a nation founded on the values of equality, justice, and brotherhood. “Let us work together to make the ‘Samta Marathon’ a success and initiate a new wave of positive change in society,” he added.
Earlier, CM Saini also paid homage to Dr. Ambedkar on the social media platform ‘X’, writing, “On the birth anniversary of the architect of the Indian Constitution and symbol of social harmony, Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, I pay my deepest respects. The strong foundation of social justice and equality established by Baba Saheb continues to guide our nation towards unity, empowerment, and self-reliance.”
