Udaipur : Under the collaboration of Avadh Art Group and Inspirit Art Gallery, an art exhibition was organized at the Nehru Art Center in Worli, Mumbai, as part of the India Art Meet. The exhibition featured a significant number of paintings by artists from Udaipur.
Curators Dr. Manisha Sanchihar and Dr. Nirmal Yadav from Inspirit Art Gallery in Udaipur explained that the inauguration of the exhibition was done by Cabinet Minister Rajesh V. Kshirsagar. The event was organized by Arka Pradhan, curator Sushma Sabneesh, Ritu Goyal, Rashi Paliwal, Kamini Johar, Roshni Kumari, and others. Renowned artists and the Dean of JJ School of Art, Prof. Vishwanath Sable, Rajendra Patil, Anant Nikam, Aura Art’s founder Rishiraj Shetty, Kalpana Shah from Tao Art Gallery, Consul General of Japan Dr. Yasukata Fukuhara, Deputy Consul General of Australia Mr. Chris Stenton, Shruti Das from Naghma, and Aditi Dhanekar from Kamlin were present during the inaugural ceremony.
Dr. Sanchihar mentioned that the India Art Meet has allocated regional-wise space for artists’ artworks, and the art pieces by artists from the Rajasthan region were showcased by Inspirit Art Gallery. The Udaipur artists, including Dr. Nirmal Yadav, Jagdish Nandwana, Snehil Babel, Kanisha Mehta, Sanchita Yadav, Tasleem Jamal from Banswara, Vijay Kumawat from Ranthambore, Amit Gandhi from Pune, and Michel Fine from UK, displayed their 45 art pieces.
Dr. Sanchihar further shared that the event featured renowned artists like Hanumant Kamle, Anant Nikam, Pragati Dalvi Jain, Shruti Das, Jignesh Dassar, Pooja Gianani, Shardul Kadam, Neelisha Pahad, Raja Mohite, Rishiraj Sethi, and Arun Markar. The artists conducted art talks and demonstrations during the art meet.
