
Katra, April 9: The CEO of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, Sachin Kumar Vaishya, announced that over 2.3 million pilgrims have visited the shrine this year, marking an increase of nearly 200,000 compared to previous years. He noted a significant enthusiasm among the devotees.
Vaishya emphasized the board’s commitment to ensuring all necessary facilities and arrangements are in place to avoid any inconvenience for the pilgrims. He encouraged devotees from various parts of the country and abroad to visit, assuring them that the shrine board is dedicated to providing the best possible services.
On April 7, Vaishya mentioned that all products offered by the shrine board are reaching the devotees. He highlighted the importance of preserving natural resources to protect the Earth, which is why a painting competition is being organized to convey this message.
Earlier, on April 4, Vaishya inaugurated a modern hostel mess facility for athletes at the Shrine Board Sports Complex. He stated that this initiative reflects the board’s ongoing commitment to promoting sports culture and ensuring the holistic development of athletes.
This initiative was undertaken under the visionary leadership of the board’s chairman, Manoj Sinha, who has consistently emphasized the development of world-class sports facilities and the nurturing of young talent. Athletes and coaches expressed their gratitude for the availability of such dedicated and state-of-the-art facilities, believing it will significantly enhance their training and performance.
