
New Delhi, October 6 (Daily Kiran) : A coalition of opposition parties, including the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), is set to stage a protest in New Delhi on October 7. This demonstration aims to address allegations of vote theft that have emerged in recent discussions. AAP’s Delhi state president, Saurabh Bhardwaj, announced that leaders and activists from Congress and leftist parties will also participate.
The gathering is scheduled for 1 PM outside the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) in Kashmiri Gate. Bhardwaj has urged AAP leaders, officials, and supporters to show up in large numbers. He emphasized the importance of voter rights and transparency in the electoral process, calling the protest a necessary response to the allegations.
Bhardwaj noted that representatives from Congress and leftist parties have invited AAP to join the protest at the CEO office. He reiterated the party’s commitment to actively participate in any public demonstrations, reinforcing their stance on the issue.
The opposition is raising concerns about the integrity of the electoral system, specifically regarding the voter list and voting procedures. They are demanding that transparency be guaranteed in these processes.
Bhardwaj has called on party workers to mobilize and ensure a successful demonstration, highlighting AAP’s history of actively participating in street movements to voice democratic concerns.
