Opposition Leaders Pay Tribute to Bhagat Singh on His Birth Anniversary

New Delhi, September 28 (Daily Kiran) : On September 28, leaders from various opposition parties gathered to pay tribute to the revolutionary martyr Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary. Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, emphasized that Singh’s struggle for India’s independence, his unwavering courage, and ultimate sacrifice will always serve as a source of inspiration for all.

In a post on social media platform X, Gandhi expressed, “On the birth anniversary of the great revolutionary martyr Bhagat Singh, I pay my respects. His struggle for India’s freedom, unparalleled bravery, and supreme sacrifice will forever inspire us.”

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also took to X to honor Singh, stating, “On the birth anniversary of the great revolutionary martyr Bhagat Singh, who dedicated everything for the country’s freedom, I bow in reverence. He fought not only against British rule but also raised his voice against social inequality and divisive forces through his writings and thoughts. His courage, ideological steadfastness, and dream of a just society continue to inspire millions of young people today.”

Arvind Kejriwal, the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party, shared, “On the birth anniversary of Bhagat Singh, the brave son of Mother India and a great revolutionary, I offer my heartfelt respects. His name will forever remain immortal in the pages of history, igniting the flame of patriotism in every Indian’s heart. Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the Samajwadi Party, also paid homage to Singh, stating, “On the birth anniversary of the great revolutionary martyr Bhagat Singh, I bow deeply in respect.”

Sharad Pawar, the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party and the Samajwadi Party, remarked, “On the birth anniversary of the revolutionary martyr Bhagat Singh, who fearlessly sacrificed his life for freedom, I humbly salute him.
