Srinagar, May 7: The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, paid tribute to the nation’s brave soldiers on the anniversary of ‘Operation Sindoor.’ He emphasized that these courageous individuals responded decisively to enemies targeting innocent civilians in Pahalgam with unwavering determination and valor.
In a post on his official ‘X’ account, Sinha stated, “As we commemorate the anniversary of Operation Sindoor, we respectfully honor the brave men and women in uniform who, through their steadfast resolve and indomitable courage, delivered a strong response to those attacking innocent civilians in Pahalgam.”
He further noted, “Operation Sindoor represents a commitment to defend our nation’s sovereignty and integrity at all costs. It is a testament to India’s firm resolve, and we are dedicated to dismantling terrorist networks and making Jammu and Kashmir free from terrorism.”
On this occasion, Union Minister and BJP MP from Udhampur, Jitendra Singh, remarked, “A year ago, India demonstrated that the response to terrorism would be met with full force, precision, and a policy of zero tolerance.”
Singh highlighted in his post, “Operation Sindoor showcased the unparalleled bravery of our armed forces and the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In just 22 minutes, the entire terrorist infrastructure was dismantled, sending a clear message to humanity’s enemies that India will never bow down.”
The BJP’s Jammu and Kashmir unit also shared a post stating, “Operation Sindoor is not just a name; it is an unwavering pledge for justice.”
In another post, the party wrote, “April 22 shook the entire nation. Terrorists identified people based on their religion and took innocent lives. Women were told, ‘Go and tell Modi.’ This was the terrorists’ biggest mistake. What they perceived as India’s silence was actually a strategy taking shape—a strategy that now no one dares to challenge.”
The post continued, “From that dark day on April 22 to the victory declaration on May 7, India has proven that we are seekers of peace, not cowardice. Operation Sindoor is a powerful commitment that terrorists and their masters will find no inch of ground to hide. We remember the victims and pray for strength and peace for their families. We salute the valor of our armed forces.”
