Majhi urged every family in Odisha to light a ‘blessing lamp’ at home, in temples, or at significant locations on this special day. He expressed that each lamp would symbolize love, gratitude, and prayers for Modi’s long, healthy, and happy life.
Additionally, the Chief Minister encouraged beneficiaries of various welfare schemes from both state and central governments to send their best wishes to the Prime Minister. He invited them to share photos and videos of their ‘blessing lamp’ moments on social media.
He stated, “If you have benefited from any welfare scheme, transform your wishes into heartfelt messages of gratitude. Share your ‘blessing lamp’ moments, and let us illuminate the path to a developed India together.”
Notably, on the occasion of Modi’s birthday, the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) plans to launch a month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ across the state.
