November 2 Panchang: Auspicious Moments and Celestial Events to Note

Explore the Panchang for November 2, highlighting auspicious timings for rituals and activities according to Hindu astrology.

New Delhi, November 1 (Daily Kiran) : The significance of the Panchang in Hinduism cannot be overstated. It serves as a guide for auspicious activities, travel, investments, and religious observances. The Panchang is a traditional method of timekeeping based on the positions of the sun, moon, and other celestial bodies.

On November 2, the Ashtami Tithi of the Krishnapaksha in the month of Kartik will begin at 2:51 PM and last until 1:10 PM the following day. This will be followed by the Navami Tithi, which will remain until 11:54 AM on November 3. Sunrise on November 2 will occur at 6:36 AM, with sunset at 5:44 PM. The moon will rise at 12:54 AM and set at 1:25 PM the next day.

According to the Panchang, the Sun will be in the Swati Nakshatra on this day. Astrologically, the Sun’s presence in Swati is believed to have profound and beneficial effects. Swati Nakshatra is governed by the deity Vayu (the Wind God) and has Rahu as its ruling planet. This positioning inspires individuals to break free from old constraints and act independently.

An auspicious yoga will prevail until 12:06 PM, after which the Shukla Yoga will commence. This yoga, ranked 23rd among the 27 nityas, symbolizes positivity, prosperity, and purity, with Goddess Lakshmi and the Sun as its presiding deities. It is regarded as a highly favorable and fruitful time.

The Abhijit Muhurat, considered the most auspicious period of the day, will occur from 11:48 AM to 12:32 PM. This time is believed to eliminate negative influences and is optimal for undertaking significant tasks. It typically lasts about 48 minutes.

Additionally, an Amrit Kaal will take place from 1:34 AM to 3:07 AM. This period is filled with positive energy and is regarded as exceptionally beneficial for new ventures, investments, religious activities, and important travels.

However, caution is advised during Rahu Kaal from 8:00 AM to 9:23 AM, as this time is deemed inauspicious for starting new endeavors. This window is calculated by dividing the daylight into eight equal segments, and it varies daily.

Yamgand Kaal will occur from 10:46 AM to 12:10 PM, a time associated with the deity of death, Yama. Engaging in new activities during this period is discouraged, as it may lead to health issues or misfortunes.

Gulik Kaal will be observed from 1:33 PM to 2:57 PM, a time considered negative for new undertakings. However, ongoing tasks can continue during this period.

On this day, the Sun will reside in Libra, a position known as being in a state of debilitation. This can lead to a decrease in confidence and decision-making abilities. The Moon, on the other hand, will be in its own sign of Cancer, enhancing creativity and imagination.

Traveling towards the east will be unfavorable due to the directional Shool, which is deemed inauspicious according to astrology and Vastu Shastra.

This comprehensive overview of the Panchang for November 2 provides essential insights for planning activities and rituals in accordance with Hindu traditions.
