
Noida Police from Sector-63 police station have cracked an interstate vehicle theft gang, arresting six suspects and recovering 15 stolen vehicles.
Acting on local intelligence and confidential information, the police conducted the operation on January 30, 2026. The accused were apprehended near J-Block Service Road in the Green Belt area of Noida.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Raju Saxena alias Titu, Vipin, Abhishek, Pawan, Sundaram, and Sameer Ansari. They were involved in stealing motorcycles and auto rickshaws from Delhi and the NCR region and hiding them at various locations. During interrogation, the suspects revealed that they parked the stolen vehicles in places like parking lots, roadside areas, and green belts.
The gang used these stolen motorcycles to carry out mobile phone snatching incidents. Additionally, they sold the stolen vehicles at very low prices to passersby. Among the recovered vehicles were popular models such as TVS Apache, TVS Radeon, Hero Splendor, Honda Shine, and Bajaj Auto. Many of these vehicles were linked to ongoing cases registered at police stations in Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad.
In total, the police seized 15 stolen vehicles, including 14 motorcycles and one auto rickshaw. The accused have several previous criminal cases registered against them. Notably, Sameer Ansari faces serious charges under the Arms Act, Excise Act, and NDPS Act. The gangβs criminal activities spanned Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad.
The police are continuing their investigation to identify additional members of the gang and recover more stolen vehicles.
