Amitabh Bachchan Opens Up About Sleep Struggles and Fitness Routine

Amitabh Bachchan shares his challenges with sleep and fitness, emphasizing the need for balance in health as he ages.

Mumbai, November 3 (Daily Kiran) : Megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently shared insights into his health, sleep issues, and fitness routine. In a candid blog post, he revealed that he has been experiencing occasional difficulties in falling asleep. Despite this, he is making efforts to return to his regular gym schedule, though he acknowledges the physical limitations that come with age.

Bachchan mentioned that while his mind is eager to exercise, his body sometimes signals the need for a break. He elaborated on his morning routine, including the challenges he faces when writing his blog. A restless night kept him awake, prompting an early rise the next morning. He also noted his ongoing struggle with adjusting the font size while writing, seeking assistance from anyone who might know the solution.

He expressed, “I’m still having trouble changing the font size while writing my blog. If anyone knows how to do it, please let me know. I searched on Google, but I couldn’t understand the instructions. I woke up a bit earlier today because I kept thinking about how I should have finished my blog last night. Now, I hope I can get some sleep again.”

Bachchan also commented on various physical exercises suggested online for improving sleep. After trying several methods without success, he concluded that natural approaches work best. He humorously advised, “The best method is to try to sleep naturally. Snuggle under a blanket and curl up as if you were in your mother’s womb before coming into this world. And just like that, sleep comes. Snoring starts too. I’m feeling sleepy now, which is a sign of oxygen deficiency. So, I’m off to rest.”

On the topic of fitness, Bachchan acknowledged that his gym visits have not been consistent lately. He is determined to get back on track with his exercise regimen. He noted that working continuously affects both body and mind, making it essential to pay more attention to his health.

Referencing the mantra “Don’t let the old man in,” he emphasized that staying fit is easier said than done and requires constant effort. “My gym routine has been disrupted, and I’m trying to get back to regularity. Continuous work tires both body and mind, so it’s crucial to focus more on oneself. The mind says yes to exercise, but the body responds, ‘Hold on, my friend.’ It’s easy to say, but tough to implement. Still, I will keep trying,” he concluded.
