Greater Noida, April 28: A significant development has emerged for Uttar Pradesh and the country’s aviation sector. Noida International Airport has successfully passed another crucial operational phase. The airport has received the final major security clearance, paving the way for its operations.
The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) has issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the airport’s Airport Security Program (ASP). This approval confirms that the airport’s security measures and processes comply with all regulatory standards and are fully prepared for passenger safety.
Receiving ASP approval is vital for any airport, as commercial flights cannot operate without it. With this clearance, the path for takeoffs and landings from the airport is now almost clear.
According to airport management, the next step is to coordinate with airlines and other partners to set a date for commencing commercial operations. Efforts are underway to ensure a smooth and organized start to operations.
Officials state that all necessary systems, procedures, and staff at the airport are being finalized. The goal is to provide passengers with a safe, fast, and convenient travel experience from the outset. Additionally, the ticket booking process is expected to begin soon.
Notably, Noida International Airport is regarded as one of the largest and most modern airports in the country. It is set to become a new hub for air travel not only for Delhi-NCR but for the entire northern region of India. Its launch is anticipated to significantly boost employment, business, and connectivity in the area.
