New Delhi, March 5: BJP spokesperson RP Singh has responded to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s decision to join the Rajya Sabha. He stated that the decision is made by Kumar and his party, making it inappropriate for anyone to question it.
In an interview with a news agency on Thursday, Singh noted that Kumar has previously held roles as an MLA, a member of the Legislative Council, and a minister at the center. His current choice to enter the Rajya Sabha reflects his deep desire. In this context, no one should raise questions about it. Kumar is a seasoned leader, and it is now up to him to decide his next steps.
Additionally, Singh addressed the question of who will be the next Chief Minister of the state. He mentioned that when JD(U) and BJP legislators meet, they will certainly decide who will take charge of the Chief Minister’s position. The future course of action will be determined when the leaders of both parties convene.
Singh also criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s stance on the Iran conflict. He expressed disappointment that Gandhi views diplomacy through a political lens, failing to recognize the difference between politics and diplomacy. It is regrettable that he seeks political opportunities even in matters related to diplomacy.
The BJP spokesperson emphasized that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed for peace between both nations during this crisis, as war is never beneficial for any country. In such circumstances, peace is the only viable option. However, it is unfortunate that Gandhi continues to engage in political maneuvering, which is unacceptable.
Furthermore, Singh responded to allegations against Congress regarding ticket distribution for money. He questioned whether Congress is a political party or an ATM machine. If allegations of selling tickets for money are true, they are indeed serious. Reports suggest that money is being solicited in exchange for tickets under Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s name.
He concluded that these claims highlight corruption within the Congress party, which persists even when they are in power. Such situations in the country’s politics cannot be tolerated any longer.
