Margao, April 3: In a thrilling encounter at the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Namdhari FC and Dempo SC played to a 1-1 draw in the Indian Football League (IFL) 2025-26 on Thursday. Namdhari FC’s defense showcased remarkable resilience throughout the match.
Dempo SC started strong, taking the lead in the 9th minute. Captain Marcus Joseph converted a penalty, awarded after a foul by a Namdhari defender inside the box, putting his team ahead 1-0. Following the goal, Dempo maintained aggressive pressure, creating several opportunities for a second goal.
