Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav announced plans for a modern library focused on Lord Krishna in Ujjain, enhancing cultural and educational initiatives.

Ujjain, November 2 (Daily Kiran) : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced plans for a state-of-the-art library dedicated to Lord Krishna in Ujjain. This initiative was revealed during a meeting of the Shri Krishna Pathway Trust’s executive committee held at the state secretariat. The library will focus on research, documentaries, plays, and music related to Lord Krishna. Additionally, a YouTube digital platform will be launched to promote these themes.
Yadav emphasized that the library will house rare manuscripts and research papers, aiming to create a modern research facility in Ujjain. The project will be executed as a broad campaign involving public participation and coordination with various government schemes. He noted that Lord Krishna’s teachings continue to guide us today, highlighting the significance of places associated with Krishna’s life, including the Sandipani Gurukul in Ujjain.
The Chief Minister expressed the intention to develop these locations into pilgrimage sites. He stated that Lord Krishna’s philosophies on life management and economic operations remain relevant across various fields. Seminars and discussions focusing on agriculture, cow conservation, and other skills associated with Krishna will be conducted at regional and national levels.
Efforts will also be made to preserve and manage temples dedicated to Lord Krishna, ensuring that devotees have access to essential facilities. Yadav suggested utilizing temple lands for better management, including agricultural and commercial activities. A portion of the income from larger temples could be directed towards improving local cow shelters and villages near Vrindavan.
Furthermore, he called for initiatives to restore and manage water structures associated with temples through the Jal Ganga campaign. The meeting also reported that land worship for the development and restoration of the Sandipani Ashram in Ujjain has already taken place. Instructions have been issued for the maintenance of over 3,200 temples, including the construction of entrances and preservation of water structures linked to the Shri Krishna Pathway.
Progress on various development projects under the Shri Krishna Pathway scheme, including Narayan Dham in Mahidpur, Shri Krishna Dham in Chhatarpur, and other locations, was also reviewed during the meeting.
