Minister Rajni Tiwari Defends Sanatan Dharma Amid Criticism

Uttar Pradesh Minister Rajni Tiwari defends Sanatan Dharma, emphasizing the importance of cow veneration and government welfare schemes.

Hardoi, October 31 (Daily Kiran) : Uttar Pradesh Minister Rajni Tiwari has strongly responded to recent comments mocking Sanatan Dharma and Hindu traditions. Speaking in Hardoi, she emphasized the reverence for cows in Hinduism, stating they are considered sacred and worshipped by many. Tiwari asserted that those who ridicule Sanatan Dharma likely lack knowledge of its traditions and scriptures.

Addressing the issue of poverty reduction, Tiwari praised the welfare initiatives launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government, which she credited for improving the lives of nearly 500 million people in India. She highlighted that these programs have benefitted all segments of society, including women, farmers, and youth.

Tiwari noted that women have become more empowered due to the government’s efforts, enabling them to rise above the poverty line and lead better lives. She stressed the significant role these welfare schemes play in the advancement of various social classes.

In response to protests by the opposition against the Chief Election Commissioner, Tiwari criticized the dissenting parties. She remarked that opposition leaders appear confused and are failing to recognize their diminishing political influence. Tiwari questioned why they do not raise their concerns within the legislative assembly instead of resorting to protests outside.

Addressing comments made by Samajwadi Party leader ST Hasan regarding Lord Ram’s birthplace, Tiwari stated that those who do not believe in God should not comment on such matters. She asserted that divine justice would prevail, and the public would also respond to such remarks. Tiwari pointed out the contrast between the opposition’s skepticism and the efforts made by the BJP to construct a grand Ram temple in Ayodhya.
