Mirzapur, April 23: Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi has targeted the opposition regarding the Women’s Reservation Bill. He stated that the issue-less opposition has shot itself in the foot by opposing the Nari Shakti Vandan Act amendment. This opposition has exposed their conservative agenda. They aim to keep women’s empowerment confined to the household, while Prime Minister Modi seeks to elevate women into Parliament and state assemblies.
Nandi remarked that the Congress, Samajwadi Party, and the entire opposition have promoted appeasement through baseless rumors about delimitation. This is why, at this historic moment when they should have stood among the heroes, they instead played the role of villains.
