Minister Danish Ansari Criticizes Akhilesh Yadav, Claims SP-Congress Alliance is Self-Serving

Lucknow, September 2: Danish Ansari, the Minister of Minority Welfare in Uttar Pradesh, has targeted Akhilesh Yadav, the national president of the Samajwadi Party (SP). He responded to Yadav’s statements regarding the SP’s election campaign and the country’s GDP growth.

In an interview with a news agency, Minister Ansari stated that the relationship between the Samajwadi Party and Congress is opportunistic. He remarked, “The SP and Congress constantly criticize each other, but when they see a chance for power, they come together. The Samajwadi Party should clarify whether it stands with Congress or against it. If their goal is the state’s development, they need to be clear about their stance.”

He further added, “Their alliance seems motivated by personal political interests, but the public is aware of the SP’s true intentions and will not be misled by their tactics. Congress and SP must clarify their position. Their unity is certainly not aimed at the development of the state; they are merely pretending to come together to fulfill their personal political agendas, just as they have deceived the common people. The public knows the real face of the SP.”

Regarding the upcoming 2027 assembly elections, the minister claimed that the SP is already laying the groundwork for its defeat. He stated, “The Samajwadi Party is preparing for its loss in 2027. This strategy was also adopted in Bihar and West Bengal. People no longer trust the SP because when it was in power, it misused its authority for personal gain instead of working for the public.”

He criticized the SP’s tenure from 2012 to 2017, saying, “The SP conspired to lead the state and its people down a misguided path during its rule, for which the public punished them by ousting them from power in 2017. The SP knows that it will not succeed in the 2027 elections, which is why they are resorting to various statements and excuses that reflect their electoral despair.”

In light of India’s GDP growth of 7.8 percent in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2027, Minister Danish praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, “Since PM Modi took charge in 2014, he has worked diligently to advance the country on the path of development. He has enhanced India’s respect on the international stage. Recognizing the country’s potential, he has worked for its development, promoting industries, uplifting the youth, and supporting farmers. PM Modi has consistently driven the economy forward.”
