Mumbai, April 13 : Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) has increased prices of Compressed Natural Gas and Piped Natural Gas ( G) in Mumbai, officials informed on Wednesday. With the revision of the prices, CNG will now be available at Rs 72 per kg while G is at Rs 45.50 per SCM in and around the financial capital of the country. The revision is applicable from midnight of April 12, 2022. This is the second hike by the company this month. Earlier, MGL had revised the price of CNG and G on April 6, 2022. At that time, the CNG and G prices were increased by Rs 7 per kg and Rs 5 per SCM in Mumbai. However, on March 31, 2022, the natural gas distribution company had announced a reduction in the prices of CNG by Rs 7 per kg and G by Rs 3.50 per SCM. AKM ACL1230
