Mega Health Camp in Gautam Buddh Nagar Offers Free Services to Thousands of Workers

Noida, May 1: A comprehensive Mega Health Camp was held in Gautam Buddh Nagar on the occasion of International Workers’ Day. The event was virtually inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. This initiative was part of the “Shramveer Samman Samaroh-2026,” aimed at providing accessible, quality, and free healthcare services to workers.

The Mega Health Camp took place at a total of 201 locations across the district, including 134 government hospitals, health and wellness centers, mobile health vans (Chief Minister’s Arogya Rath), and 67 private hospitals. From 9 AM to 5 PM, a large number of workers enthusiastically participated, availing themselves of the health services offered.

During the camp, workers received free health check-ups, consultations from specialist doctors, essential tests, free distribution of medicines, and identification of serious illnesses. Additionally, information was provided on social security schemes, skill development programs, and educational and nutritional plans for their children.

Private hospitals played a crucial role in the success of this initiative. Their active participation enhanced the quality and accessibility of health services. Social organizations also made significant contributions. The “Dadi Ki Rasoi” organization arranged free meals for the workers attending the camp, along with distributing towels and hats.

To raise awareness about health and social issues, street plays were organized. Benefited workers expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister. The district administration thanked all departments, doctors, healthcare workers, and partner organizations for making this event successful. They also emphasized the commitment to continue such welfare programs in the future, ensuring better and more accessible services for workers and the general public.
