Bhubaneswar, April 17: Mahandi Coalfields Limited (MCL), a major subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL), has announced a recruitment drive for various positions, including technicians, with a total of 500 vacancies.
The recruitment includes 150 positions for Assistant Foreman (Electrical) (Trainee) in T&S Grade-C (E&M) and 350 positions for Technician (Electrician) (Trainee) in Category-III (E&M).
The online application process will commence at 10 AM on May 7 and will close on May 28. Eligible candidates wishing to apply can submit their registration forms until 11:50 PM on the last date, once the application link is activated on the official website.
Candidates applying for the Assistant Foreman position must possess a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution or university (approved by AICTE). For the Technician role, candidates should have completed matriculation along with a 2-year ITI in Electrician trade (NCVT/SCVT). Additionally, candidates must meet other specified eligibility criteria.
The minimum age for applicants is set at 18 years, while the maximum age is 30 years, calculated as of May 28. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a Computer-Based Test (CBT), educational/technical qualifications, health/medical fitness, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹47,330.25 for the Assistant Foreman position and ₹1,583.32 per day for the Technician role.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online, which is set at ₹1,180 for General/OBC/EWS categories. Candidates from reserved categories will receive fee concessions as per rules.

Fill in all the required information in the form and upload the necessary documents in the correct size.
