Ghaziabad, May 20: A massive fire erupted early Wednesday at a vehicle workshop near the New Bus Stand in the Hindon area of Ghaziabad, causing panic among locals. Fire department teams rushed to the scene upon receiving the alert and managed to bring the blaze under control within approximately half an hour.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries, although several vehicles inside the workshop were engulfed in flames. According to reports, the fire control room received a call around 5 AM on May 20, 2026, about the fire at a workshop near the Rapid Metro Station close to the Dharm Kanta.
Fire officials quickly dispatched two fire tankers and a water browser to the site. Upon arrival, they found that the fire was rapidly spreading at the New Auto Life Motors workshop on Meerut Road. The intensity of the blaze was such that it began to consume the vehicles parked inside.
