
Patna, July 15: The Bihar government has announced a significant reshuffle within the state police service, involving the transfer of 22 officers holding the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). A notification was issued on Tuesday, assigning new responsibilities to various officials. The transfer list includes postings in roles such as Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Cyber Crime and Security Unit, Special Task Force (STF), Crime Investigation Department (CID), Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS), Traffic, and other units.
According to the orders released by the Home Department, several officers have been sent to field postings, while others have been transferred from one district to another. This reshuffle aims to enhance the administrative efficiency and smooth functioning of the police force.
Notable changes include Ajit Kumar from Buxar, who has been appointed as SDPO-1 in Danapur (Patna). Ramesh Kumar from Vaishali has been assigned as SDPO in Ramnagar (Bagaha). Prashant Kumar from Lakhisarai has been posted as Senior Police Deputy Superintendent in the STF in Patna, while Shiv Shankar Kumar from Araria takes on the role of SDPO-2 in Patna City.
Additionally, Sunil Kumar Singh from Gopalganj has been appointed SDPO-1 in Hilsa (Nalanda), and Satyakam from Darbhanga has been assigned SDPO-1 in Dehri (Rohtas). Raghav Dayal has been posted as SDPO-1 in Masaurhi (Patna), and Amarnath has been assigned to SDPO-1 in Bihar Sharif (Nalanda).
Kanhaiya Kumar from Jamui has been appointed SDPO in Piro (Bhojpur), and Chandan Kumar Thakur from Madhubani has been assigned SDPO in Gogari (Khagaria). Ragini Kumari has been appointed as Police Deputy Superintendent in the ATS, Bihar, Patna. Sneha Setu has been assigned SDPO-2 in Kahalgaon (Bhagalpur), and Prakash has been posted as SDPO-2 in Sadar (Chhapra).
Furthermore, Raj Kumar-2 from Patna has received a new responsibility in the Crime Investigation Department (CID), Bihar, Patna.
