Major Action in Noida: NSA Imposed on Two Accused in Violent Protest Case

Noida, May 13: The Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate has taken significant action in connection with the violent labor protest that occurred on April 13 in Noida. Authorities have imposed the National Security Act (NSA) on two accused individuals. Investigations revealed that both played crucial roles in escalating the protest into violence, inciting the crowd, and creating chaos. Following this action, the police administration has heightened its vigilance regarding law and order in the district.

According to police, the two individuals facing NSA charges are Satyam Verma and Aakriti. Both are reported to be active members of the Mazdoor Bigul Dasta. Investigative agencies have indicated that during the labor movement, they utilized social media and other platforms to incite a large number of people to participate in the protest. Furthermore, they were found to have significant involvement in the violence, arson, and vandalism that occurred during the demonstration.

A statement from the Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate noted that several cases have been registered across various police stations concerning the violent incidents and inflammatory activities during the labor protests. Evidence and technical analysis during the investigation made it clear that Satyam Verma and Aakriti were consistently attempting to incite people and disrupt public order. Consequently, action was taken against them under the National Security Act.

Police officials stated that public property was damaged during the violent protests, arson was committed, and there was an attempt to disrupt law and order. Several other suspects have also been identified, and their activities are under continuous surveillance. The police claim that strict action against additional accused individuals may be forthcoming soon.

The Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate has made it clear that social elements attempting to create chaos, spread rumors, and disrupt public peace will not be spared under any circumstances. The police administration emphasized that maintaining peace, security, and public convenience in the district is their top priority, and strict action against those taking the law into their own hands will continue.
