Thane, Apr 5 : A 22-year-old cleaner of a dumper was killed and its driver badly injured in an accident involving three vehicles, on the flyover at Teen Hath Naka on Nashik-Mumbai road this morning, the civic officials said on Tuesday. The chief of the RDMC of the TMC Avinash Sawant told this correspondent that around 0545 hrs on Tuesday, a dumper rammed into an dentified vehicle which in turn rammed into a truck proceeding ahead, killing the cleaner of the dumper Sameer Shaikh and injuring the driver who had multiple factures, and is being treated at the civic Shivaji Hospital at Kalwa. The truck laden with sand was proceeding to Kolhapur from Gujarat. A case was registered and further investigation was on, he added. XR NV ACL1401
