New Delhi, May 14: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav visited New Delhi on Thursday, where he met with several central ministers to discuss important issues related to the state. During these discussions, he emphasized the need for better coordination with the central government on energy conservation, water management, and development plans. He stated that the government is continuously working towards energy conservation for the benefit of the nation.
While speaking to reporters in New Delhi, CM Mohan Yadav highlighted the efforts being made in Madhya Pradesh to create a series of dams for effective utilization of water for drinking, irrigation, and other needs. He expressed satisfaction that the state is leading in the rejuvenation of rivers, wells, ponds, and canals, and assured that they will accelerate these efforts. He also invited Union Minister C.R. Patil to visit the state to observe the work being done.
CM Yadav described his visit as overall satisfactory. He mentioned that a committee has been formed regarding the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), and meetings have already taken place. They are working in a phased manner and are trying to reach out to the public for advice, which will guide their future steps.
Regarding Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal for energy conservation, he noted that the government is actively working on it and expressed hope for cooperation from all. A guideline has been established, and work is progressing accordingly.
During his visit to Delhi, CM Mohan Yadav also met with several central ministers, including Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Minister for Energy, Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar, and the Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, as well as Renewable Energy.
