Leaders Pay Tribute to Acclaimed Hindi Literary Figure Acharya Ramchandra Shukla on His Birth Anniversary

New Delhi, October 4 (Daily Kiran) : On October 4, leaders across India honored Acharya Ramchandra Shukla, a pivotal figure in modern Hindi literature, on his birth anniversary. Shukla, renowned for his contributions as a writer, critic, and essayist, is celebrated for his profound impact on Hindi literature.

Dinesh Sharma, the Lieutenant Governor of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, took to social media platform ‘X’ to pay his respects, stating, “On the birth anniversary of the great modern Hindi writer and critic Acharya Ramchandra Shukla, I bow in reverence.”

Uttar Pradesh‘s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya also remembered Shukla, saying, “On the birth anniversary of the great critic and writer Acharya Ramchandra Shukla, I pay my respects! His deep literary vision, critical thinking, and impactful writing have given new direction to Hindi literature. His invaluable contributions will always be remembered in the Hindi world.”

Bihar’s Agriculture Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha expressed similar sentiments, stating, “I bow in reverence to the great critic, writer, and distinguished literary figure Acharya Ramchandra Shukla on his birth anniversary. His unparalleled contributions to the development of Hindi literature and his rich literary legacy will always be remembered.”

Hemant Khandelwal, president of the Madhya Pradesh BJP, acknowledged Shukla’s significant role in the advancement of Hindi literature, saying, “I respectfully pay tribute to the great literary figure Acharya Ramchandra Shukla on his birth anniversary. His profound thoughts on literature and timeless works will continue to guide future generations.”

BJP leader Bajrang Bahadur Singh referred to Shukla as a visionary, stating, “On the birth anniversary of the visionary critic and great literary figure Acharya Ramchandra Shukla, I bow in reverence! Through his unique literary insight, profound thoughts, and powerful writing, he enriched Hindi literature and provided it with new direction.”

Another BJP leader, Ashutosh Tripathi, remarked, “On the birth anniversary of the great literary figure and eminent critic Acharya Ramchandra Shukla, I bow in reverence. His unparalleled contributions to enriching Hindi literature will always be remembered. His literary vision and ideology continue to guide the literary world today.”

Born on October 4, 1884, Acharya Ramchandra Shukla is considered a milestone in the fields of literary history and criticism in Hindi literature. His notable work, “Hindi Sahitya Ka Itihas,” remains a foundational text for students of literature.
