
New Delhi, April 7: The auspicious birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Maharaj will be celebrated on Tuesday with devotion, reverence, and joy. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and various Chief Ministers have extended their greetings, expressing pride in remembering the life story of the Guru Sahib.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah took to social media platform X to convey his wishes, stating, “Heartfelt greetings on the birth anniversary of the ninth Guru of Sikhism, ‘Hind di Chadar,’ Guru Tegh Bahadur. He made the ultimate sacrifice for the protection of Indian culture and humanity, choosing to give his life rather than abandon his faith. He stood firm against the injustices and atrocities of cruel rulers, setting an example of compassion and empathy. Remembering Guru Sahib fills the heart with pride.”
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also shared his thoughts on X, writing, “On the birth anniversary of the ninth Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur, I bow down in reverence.
