Keshav Maurya Criticizes Akhilesh Yadavs Tenure in Uttar Pradesh

Lucknow, March 18: On the occasion of the Uttar Pradesh government’s nine-year anniversary, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya addressed a gathering in Lucknow. He reflected on the years 2016 and 2017, recalling the decisive struggle against the chaotic governance of the Samajwadi Party. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the government had already formed at the national level.

Maurya stated that during Akhilesh Yadav’s tenure, goons, criminals, and mafia ran rampant in the state. He accused Yadav of ruining Uttar Pradesh and emptying its treasury. He pointed out that Yadav has been out of power for nine years and is now changing his colors like a chameleon to regain authority. “When he was in power, he neglected everyone, deceived the public, discriminated, and exploited all,” Maurya added.

Speaking to reporters, Maurya emphasized that these nine years have been historic for Uttar Pradesh, marking a transformation in faith, development, welfare for the poor, women’s empowerment, and upliftment of farmers. He declared that the completion of these nine years symbolizes a significant change in the state’s fortune.

Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak also addressed the audience, humbly requesting the people of Uttar Pradesh to consider their choices carefully when voting. He stated that they have rescued the state from storms and difficult situations, transforming it from the chaos left by previous Samajwadi Party governments. He urged voters to remember the state’s condition before 2017.

Pathak criticized Akhilesh Yadav, claiming he turned Uttar Pradesh into a state of lawlessness rather than governance. He assured that those responsible for such chaos will never be allowed to return to power in the state.
