Thiruvananthapuram, March 23 : Kerala has reported 702 fresh Covid-19 cases from 23,238 samples tested during the last 24 hours and 2 deaths on Wednesday. “Meanwhile, 6 recent deaths lacking proper records have been added today. About 53 deaths were also added to the list based on appeals seeking its inclusion in the list taking the death toll in the State to 67,476,” an official statement said. About 903 people have recovered from the disease today. As many as 5,091 people, who already tested positive, are undergoing treatment in the State while 64,55,655 people have recovered from the infection so far. Currently 16,540 people are under observation in the State — 17,541 are at their homes or institutional quarantine centres and 500 in hospitals. Today, 80 people infected with virus were admitted in hospitals in the State. DS GNK
