Bengaluru, August 6: Karnataka Legislative Council’s Opposition Leader, Chalwadi Narayanaswamy, responded to Minister Yatindra Siddaramaiah’s recent comments. In an interview, Narayanaswamy asserted that India has always been, and will continue to be, a Hindu nation. He emphasized that those who chose to migrate to Pakistan after independence believed in India’s identity as a Hindu nation. He criticized Siddaramaiah for lacking knowledge about religion and caste, suggesting he should study these topics before forming conclusions.
Narayanaswamy stated that injustices have been done to everyone in the Ahinda community, and no justice has been served. He accused Siddaramaiah of attempting to re-establish dominance in society, which he believes will not succeed. He advised the minister to refrain from commenting on caste and religion and to focus on fulfilling his responsibilities, as the public is watching.
He claimed that the current political actions are driven by vote bank politics. Narayanaswamy firmly stated that India will remain a Hindu nation, and the ideology of Hindutva will remain active without compromise. He urged those opposing this view to understand it quickly.
He also noted that Congress leaders are now seeking support from the public, claiming their dignity is at stake. He expressed concern over the party’s current state, stating that such a situation has never been witnessed in Congress before. He declared that the cycle of corruption within Congress cannot continue indefinitely, as the public is now aware of the party’s corrupt practices.
Additionally, he addressed the audio clip controversy, questioning whether those who steal ever admit their mistakes. He accused Congress members of being adept at lying.
