Ranchi, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : Ranchi, October 2 – JMM leader Manoj Pandey has declared that Jharkhand is on the verge of being completely free from Naxalism, thanks to the persistent efforts of the state government and security forces. Speaking on various issues, including the MMDR Act and ethanol blending, he emphasized the positive developments in the state.
Pandey remarked on the MMDR Act, stating, “Imposing restrictions on our rights is illegal. The Supreme Court granted us this authority, and we will not tolerate any infringement. We will fight for our rights in court and continue to pursue the collection of dues.”
He further asserted that only a few Naxalites remain in Jharkhand, attributing this progress to the government’s commitment and the surrender of several prominent Naxal leaders, as well as the outcomes of various encounters. “Jharkhand is moving towards liberation from Naxalism, made possible through the efforts of the government and security forces,” he said.
On the topic of ethanol, Pandey expressed concerns about its impact on vehicles. “Ethanol is damaging cars; our own vehicle has suffered. Many people are sharing their experiences on social media, reporting decreased mileage. The current technology does not support efficient performance with ethanol. Meanwhile, adulterated petrol is sold, and while strict actions are taken against such practices, the government is openly mixing ethanol into fuel,” he noted.
Addressing Rahul Gandhi‘s comments regarding changes to Form 6, Pandey criticized the alterations as unconstitutional. “Only Parliament has the authority to make changes, and it was done by an individual, which is both wrong and unconstitutional,” he stated.
Reflecting on Mahatma Gandhi‘s legacy, he remarked, “Gandhi was relevant, is relevant, and will remain so. Seventy years ago, he was honored as the Father of the Nation, and this recognition endures worldwide.”
