Ranchi, 01 September (Kiran News): With the monsoon rains almost coming to a halt across Ranchi and other districts of Jharkhand, people are now facing discomfort due to rising heat and humidity.

The highest temperature in the state was recorded at Seraikela, touching 35°C, while humidity levels have also soared. In Ranchi, humidity reached 95% over the past 24 hours.
The Meteorological Department has predicted that Ranchi and nearby areas may witness moderate rainfall once or twice over the next five days, and other districts are also likely to receive showers. According to the Meteorological Centre in Ranchi, there is no significant change expected in maximum temperatures for the next three days, but a drop of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius could occur in the following two days.
On Monday, Ranchi and its surrounding areas experienced clear skies and intense sunshine. The maximum temperature recorded was 31.8°C in Ranchi, 33°C in Jamshedpur, 33.8°C in Daltonganj, 34.1°C in Bokaro, and 34.4°C in Chaibasa.
