Jewar Airport Ready for Takeoff, PM Modi to Inaugurate with Major Traffic Changes

Greater Noida, March 27: The highly anticipated Noida International Airport, also known as Jewar Airport, is now fully prepared for flights. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to arrive in Greater Noida today to review the final preparations ahead of the inauguration.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to arrive in Jewar around noon on Saturday to formally inaugurate this ambitious project. Following the inauguration ceremony, the Prime Minister will address a large public gathering, which is expected to attract a significant number of attendees. In light of this historic event, local administration and security agencies have made extensive preparations. The area has been divided into multiple security zones, with police and security forces deployed at every corner.

Special monitoring is in place around the event venue and surrounding areas to prevent any disruptions. To ensure smooth traffic flow, a comprehensive traffic plan has been developed. The administration has decided to temporarily halt the movement of goods vehicles on the Yamuna Expressway and Noida Expressway. This restriction will take effect from 7 AM on Saturday and will remain in place for approximately 16 hours. During this time, heavy vehicles will be diverted to alternative routes to avoid inconveniencing VIP movements and the general public.

Local authorities have urged residents to adhere to the traffic advisory and avoid unnecessary travel on these routes. Additionally, special guidelines have been issued for those attending the event. The opening of Jewar Airport is expected to significantly boost the economic and industrial development of not only Uttar Pradesh but also the entire northern region of India.
